Vätternrundan riders reach the finish in Motala after a whole night in the saddle. We came in sideways, sunburnt and smelling of lake water, after 91 km of gravel, a castle and a lagoon you cannot drive to.

Every June, thousands of cyclists ride the eastern shore of Lake Vättern in the dark, at speed, watching a taillight. We gave it a full day of sun instead: orchards, Gränna’s candy and the beech forest on Omberg, from Jönköping to Borghamn.
