Geometry is the quiet hero: stable enough to descend loose gravel fully loaded, lively enough that an empty bike on the road never feels like a tractor. Mounts are everywhere you would want them.
The build is sensibly specced rather than blingy, which is the right call on a bike that will get thrashed. Swap the finishing kit to taste; the frame is the thing, and the frame is excellent.
The Hook EXT-C is a carbon frame with adventure geometry, clearance for 700×50 or 27.5×2.1″ tyres, a 1×12 gravel drivetrain and mounts on the fork, top tube and a triple boss. It weighs 10.4 kg in size M and comes in sizes XS–XL.
Best as one bike for every surface. Worth knowing: it is not a featherweight, the finishing kit is merely fine, and popular sizes can sell out.
