Three winters in, the welds still hold and the dry-bag still seals.
We have run this saddle pack across the Iceland Divide, two Badlands and more wet Swedish nights than we care to count. It is the bag we reach for without thinking — and the one we trust with the things that have to stay dry.
Three winters in, the welds still hold and the dry-bag still seals.
The hydrophobic outer keeps its shape loaded or half-empty, so the dreaded tail-wag on fast gravel descents never really arrives. The dual-strap mount stays put over washboard where lighter packs start to sway.
It is not the lightest 17-litre pack you can buy, and at this price it should not be. What you are paying for is the welded seams and the abrasion panel that have shrugged off three seasons of grit. We would buy it again tomorrow.
