South of Varberg Loop answers a question every rider in the area eventually asks: asphalt or gravel? Here the answer is both. The outbound leg runs south along fast coast road, open sea to one side and the kind of tailwind-assisted cruising that makes the kilometres disappear. The return flips the surface entirely, threading back north on farm tracks and forest gravel at a slower, rougher pace. Two and a half thousand metres of climbing across the full 250km round trip, and a proper feel for what this stretch of Halland has to offer in both directions.
